Office Open House/Community Outreach Program- As an effort to get to know our new neighbors in Brownsburg, we pursued two community activities. Dr. Mustard and the staff hosted an open house and invited the general public into our office for a meet and greet. Individuals were offered free exam and x-rays upon scheduling for an initial exam. Dr. Mustard also reached out to the business community by visiting offices and personally introducing himself. Each office’s business card was entered into a raffle, with the winning card receiving free exam and x-rays for the office staff.
Dental Hygiene Awareness Program- This Fall we sponsored a Toothbrush Giveaway for Brown Elementary. A total of 307 bags were made filled with age appropriate Colgate toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a folder filled with dental hygiene tips! We are very excited about this program and look forward to sponsoring another school next spring.
Kids Sonicare Tooth Decorating Contest- In conjunction with the Dental Hygiene Awareness Program, we also donated two Phillips Kid’s Sonicare toothbrushes to the winners of a tooth decorating contest. Each child was given a tooth cartoon character to decorate anyway that they chose. After a lengthy judging process we chose a first and fifth grader as or winners. The winning entries are framed and are on display in our hygiene room. We look forward to adding more winners to our Tooth Decorating Hall of Fame next spring!

Free Mouth Guard Promotion- Though promoting healthy dental hygiene is important to us here at Brownsburg Gentle Dentist we also want to help our athletes protect their smile. This fall we began a free mouth guard promotion for our high school aged patients. Once patients completed exam, x-rays, cleaning and FL they were able to choose the color of their complimentary Power Bite Athlete Mouth Guard.
Orthodontic Outreach- In staying committed to providing the best all-around dental care, Dr. Mustard has teamed up with local orthodontic offices to be sure orthodontic patients are not missing important preventative care. It is a huge misconception that orthodontic patients do not need to see their primary dentist. It is VERY NECESSARY to maintain your periodic exam and cleaning every six months. We are now actively working with the surrounding Orthodontist to insure our patients are up to date with both facilities and not racking up future out of pocket dental cost.
